Like the good old times.
Then, in typical Sarah & Trent form, we spent the next couple of hours watching MTV snacking on Cheez-Its. First we watched Danny get voted off Road Rules: X-Treme. Then we watched The Real World: San Diego - The Shit They Should Have Shown. OMG, was this show AWESOME! Sarah, Erik and I are all in agreement that The Real World: San Diego sucked major ass. It was so boring and the people were so annoying. We hated every second of it. But the Shit They Should Have Shown special more than made up for the entire crappy season. I actually liked seeing the Real Worlders without all the editing. It was worth it all just to see Cameren keep smacking Brad in the nuts over and over and over! You should check it out if you get a chance. We were totally wrapped up in the show and the tape (she recorded the show from last Tuesday night) cut out before the last 10 minutes of the show. First we howled in anger and then checked the TV schedule to learn that it reairs tomorrow at 2:30pm. I have to watch it to the end.
Anyways, we had a great time hanging out together. I love my relationship with Sarah. We have all the good stuff now and none of the bad stuff. Weee! We're so in sync when we hang it's scary. Tomorrow night she is coming to see us play kickball again and then she and I are going to the Cadieux Cafe to watch Mark play guest drums with Bloom (his brother, Michael's, band).
It shall rock!

I want a legal guardian too!
In the It's about fucking time news category: Courtney Love has been put under the control of "A person who has the legal responsibility for providing the care and management of a person who is incapable, either due to age or to some other physical, mental or emotional impairment, of administering his or her own affairs" -- essentially the same legal powers, rights and duties as a parent. Um, yeah. In other Courtney news, now she's a comic book character too.
Elliott Smith's last album will be posthumously released on October 19. I don't want to say that I'm excited (because of the circumstances surrounding its release) but new Elliott Smith is always a good thing.
More NIN news; Trent will be reissuing Closure (The video collection) and The Downward Spiral (in a 2-disc set; mixed in 5.1 stereo) and has set the new album release date to "early '05".
First she worked with Fischerspooner and now Kylie teams up with the Scissor Sisters for a collabo. That little Aussie always has her fingers on the pulse of what's hot. Will it be a remix or a whole new song? Can't wait to find out! [Goss via Michael T.]
Watch your back Hilary, Lindsay gets a record deal. Erik is all about Hilary, but I really like the Lindsay songs that I've heard (from the soundtrack to Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen). Hilary and Lindsay are the new Britney and Xtina.
We all know that she's got ugly-hair-a but did you know that Xtina is going bald? Shocking isn't it?
NME.com has a cool article on all the people that Björk is collaborating with on her new instrument-free album Medulla. They also provide the tracklist:

I'm going to go wash my eyes and hit the road. The day has only begun. Developing ...
