Some Of The Dharma

Unless I was able to tell you that Hollywood "It" Girls were literally exploding all over the place I sincerely doubt that any goss news would be able to measure up to yesterday's happenings ... the planets must have aligned or misaligned ... or maybe one of the attendants of the Dharma Initiative failed to enter the code and push the button within the 108 minute time frame yesterday ... who knows ... let's just try and make the best of today ...

Let's go ALL THE WAY BACK to the first big story to break yesterday ... the early speculation was that Lindsay Lohan's second car accident was the result of hounding by the paparazzi ... here are pictures of L. Lo doing her normal shopping before the accident and then the actual accident itself:

It has since been determined that the accident was NOT caused by the paparazzi. Furthermore, the van that was involved in the accident was completely innocent in the whole incident ... the poor guy was just trying to park his van when the black Mercedes slammed into it. I'm not sure if we are ever going to hear about whether or not Lindsay was solely at fault, especially if her publicist's ability to squelch information is any good. The only thing that matters is that Lindsay is okay ... and that the dude in the van is going to make a killing in court out of all of this. [Source]

ATTENTION: LOST SPOILER ALERT WARNING

So ... okay ... Lost ... I managed to stay up late so that I could watch the episode last night (since Erik and I were at The Bravery show in Detroit last night) and I have to admit ... while it was exciting in certain parts I kinda felt as if I was being spoonfed a lot of the "wrong" information that is supposed to appear as the "right" information. Who knows if I'm just crazy and paranoid ... but the Orientation film just seems too convenient ... and while it gave a lot of weird, new information I still felt unsatisfied (kind of like Jack felt, which is why he didn't want to watch the film again). I am intrigued to figure out how Dr. Marvin Candle and Alvar Hanso figure into the whole scenario. And at least now the polar bear thing makes a bit more sense. But yeah ... things are now happening all over the place aren't they?

The 108 minute countdown is cool and all but ... it's just another thing having to do with the numbers ... it seems like EVERYTHING has to do with those numbers (maybe that's the point?). What was up with insane-o Anna Lucia? Obvs, she was thrown in that episode to make us want to know what is going on with her. We know she was on the plane, we know she met Jack ... but why is she hanging out with Old Dirty Bastard? I have to admit that I was a little happy to hear that the whole Dharma Initiative thing started at the University of Michigan (which explains a lot) and I absolutely loved Katy Segal as Helen, Locke's girlfriend. I know that we are going to learn that something bad is going to happen to her ... does she die in the accident where Locke becomes paralyzed? [Source]

For more, extremely mind-boggling but very interesting commentary about last night's episode (and about the whole show altogether) make sure you check out The Test Pilot. The site has some great theories ... and really highlights what is going on at The Hanso Foundation website (which is another fake Lost website). I am particularly intrigued by the other ACTIVE PROJECTS:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my head hurts ...... this show is going to drive me absolutely batty ... and HELLO, I know that is exactly the point ... and HELLO, I know that JJ Abrams is doing all this web shizz to ensure that bloggers will talk about his show ... we are playing along with his masterplan just like Desmond is ... we just press the button every week. Tricky tricky ...

Let's move on ... Oh look ... we now have pictures of how Katie Holmes found out that she was carrying "Tom Cruise's" baby:

This whole thing just reeks of a scam ... I don't know why exactly ... I have a hard time believing that a baby will come from any of this ... I wonder if they bought the sperm ... Tom never had children of his own and now all of the sudden he's implanting seeds into little Katie? Fishy! Anyways, before I forget ... I have to mention that these pictures are from an episode of Dawson's Creek, sent to me by Pink reader Sarah ... please do not email or leave comments telling me that the pictures are not really of Katie Holmes taking a pregnancy test ... [Source, thanks Sarah]

Aww, isn't it nice when celebrity couples can stay friends even after they end engagements?

Something tells me that Paris2 like being around one another. Maybe they'll get back together and stun the world! Nah, the only way these 2 could stun the world would be if they announced they were running for the Senate. [Source]

I mean ... it is plausible that Paris Hilton could win a seat in the US Senate ... she's got the qualifications ...

... you know, since she's Queen of the Effing Universe and all. [Source]

I think we are learning that Mischa Barton has really bad taste in men ...

... and in clothing ... Worst.vest.ever. [Source]

Jennifer Garner paid a little visit to the Martha Stewart Show in an attempt to show off her mad domestic skillz ... here is mom-to-be Garner holding a little baby:

That baby looks soooo unimpressed. Altho, I really cannot wait until Jen does give birth to little Beniffa. [Source]

Well lookie here ... Jack Osbourne gets a fab make-over and now he thinks he can tell the world how to dress ... check him out giving style tips to sister Kelly O:

I'm with ya, Jack. I'm of the mind that ascots only belong in period piece movies or on marching band uniforms. [Source]

Here is another picture of Sarah Michelle Geller on the set of Southland Tales ... for the longest time I had no idea who the other actress was ... but it appears that she is none other than Jill Ritchie -- Kid Rock's little sister:

You can check out her profile page on the IMDB. How cool is that ... no, not that she is related to Kid Rock, but that we gots a D-town diva in a SMG movie! Represent Detroit!!! [Source, thank you SO much Juliana]

I love these pictures SOOOOOOOOOOO much ... here is some more Laguna Beach funness ... check out Jason's #1 wingman, Cedric, dancing around in a pair of skimpy pink undies:

I'm so shocked that Cedric is sharing this part of himself with others ... I was sure that he saved this type of intimate interaction solely with Jason. [Source via TVGasm.com]

In case anyone is interested (I'll admit, even I was a wee bit interested) you can head over to Egotastic! to download a 30-second video of Janet Jackson sunbathing in the nude:

Who knew Janet Jackson had such nervous hands? Anyways, if you'd rather not download you can stream the NSFW vid HERE. [Source]

Beyoncé is on the cover of the new issue of Vanity Fair:

The bootylicious one tells Vanity Fair that she is not secretly married to Jay-Z ... they're not even engaged. What?! No engagement?! Bo-ring! Actually, the only thing she tells the magazine is that she's grown up. So ... there you go ... ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ [Source]

Jennifer Aniston is looking ... very stoic on the cover of Elle magazine:

And her laugh face in this second picture looks very ... forced. C'mon, tell me you don't see the Comedy Mask in her face. [Source via IvyMiller]

Magazine's keep putting Victoria Beckham on their covers ...

... for the standard ... scissor leg, arched back, butt-up pictures. What am I missing here? [Source]

And finally ... who's ready for a new, sexy gay soap opera-type movie that has all the elements of great entertainment? I know I am ... as campy as it sounds, I think I really want to check out Dante's Cove:

How can you go wrong with a film that is described as Melrose Place meets Dark Shadows meets Passions meets Charmed??? With such an orgy of fun camp shizz it's gotta be awesome! The movie will be released in limited theaters and will debut on here! this Friday. Ch-check it out! [Source]

Les News:
So yesterday was a very fun day ... I woke up early in order to blog first thing before going out for my interview. Sherry and Andy flew in from Toronto to interview me for a couple of shows for STAR! ... I took them down to Hart Plaza so that we could use Downtown Detroit as the backdrop. I cannot tell you how amazingly nice they were to me ... I felt so comfortable with them, I wasn't even nervous at all:

We had the best time. I hope they enjoyed their quick visit to Detroit ... and I hope to one day be able to pay them a visit in Toronto.

Last night Erik and I were finally able to see The Bravery in concert -- they played the Majestic Theater:

Yeah, I think Sam Endicott needs to change his name to Sam EndiHott. Unfortch we did not arrive in time to hear the opening band, People in Planes, play but we did manage to catch The International Noise Conspiracy. Hi, those guys are CRAZY on the stage ... the frontman was jumping around like Mick Jagger on acid ... they were really, really good.

The Bravery were awesome ... they really put on a great show ... I was very pleased that I was finally able to catch them live. I was a bit upset that Sam had cut his hair ... but I guess I can forgive him.

Today ... I begin my preparations for LA and tonight Erik and I are going to see Tegan & Sara.

NOTE: I have been getting a couple emails and a few comments that the pictures are not loading for some of you? I'm not sure what is going with that ... the pictures are working fine on my end ... I am able to access the FTP server just fine ... I suggest maybe clearing out your cache and then reloading the page? I'm not sure if there is a conflict with some ISPs and my image host but ... I really hope this problem clears up for those of you experiencing the difficulties.

Pink reader Brianne posts THIS article in the comments ... it definitely has a bearing on those of you who cannot see the pictures. I've gotten emails from people who use Road Runner as their ISP -- RR users are experiencing some of the blackout and are therefore unable to load the images. Hopefully this issue will be resolved but there is nothing I can do on my end. I'm really sorry :(
